Camtree recognises that collaborative inquiry, supported by committed and enlightened leadership, contributes to enhanced outcomes for learners; professional development for educators; and wide-ranging and enduring educational improvement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Educators can, through inquiry, create knowledge and establish themselves as experts and agents of change.&nbsp; Collaborative approaches allow them to develop greater shared awareness of how the curriculum and their teaching are affecting learning, and what needs to be done to improve it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Many educators are already undertaking inquiry through courses, school improvement projects or continuing professional development.  However, the valuable knowledge they produce is only rarely published or shared beyond their own workplaces and local networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Camtree will be the world\u2019s first platform that helps educators and educational leaders both to improve learning&nbsp;<em>and&nbsp;<\/em>share their knowledge.&nbsp; By developing a global community of active classroom practitioner-researchers and educational leaders, sharing their work, and learning from and with each other, it will promote improved outcomes in classrooms worldwide.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"gb-container gb-container-5e8f80d0 alignfull\">\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-98bf97c9\">\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-d02916f7\">\n<div class=\"gb-grid-wrapper gb-grid-wrapper-db9f75bb\">\n<div class=\"gb-grid-column gb-grid-column-81d24d44\"><div class=\"gb-container gb-container-81d24d44\">\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-e058990f\">\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-95c8e6c6 gb-headline-text\">Camtree@Hughes Hall<\/h2>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"font-size:20px\">Camtree is based at <a href=\"https:\/\/hughes.cam.ac.uk\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Hughes Hall<\/a>, one of the constituent colleges of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cam.ac.uk\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Cambridge<\/a>.  We also have close associations with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.educ.cam.ac.uk\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Cambridge Faculty of Education<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Camtree is part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deficambridge.org\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">DEFI &#8211; the Digital Education Futures Initiative<\/a> which aims to create a more inclusive global education system by building a community that offers a space for open dialogue, research, knowledge creation.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"font-size:18px\">It is also part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hughes.cam.ac.uk\/academic\/the-bridge\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Bridge Initiative<\/a>, established at Hughes Hall to bring the College\u2019s multi-disciplinary perspective, international nature and external focus to bring the research and expertise of its academic He is a senior member of Hughes Hall and a Lecturer in Education Leadership at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.educ.cam.ac.uk\/people\/staff\/hennessy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge<\/a>&nbsp;and has been president of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.walsnet.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">World the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/edtechhub.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EdTech Hub<\/a>, and co-leader of the interdisciplinary&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.educ.cam.ac.uk\/research\/groups\/cedir\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cambridge Educational Dialogue Research (CEDiR)<\/a>&nbsp;group.
