It exists in order to improve education and learning, and to contribute to improved quality of life of learners, who are its primary stakeholders.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">Camtree has developed the following statement of principles, grounded in and guided by international declarations, conventions and frameworks.&nbsp; While these may refer to \u2018teachers\u2019 and \u2018children\u2019, Camtree holds that these principles apply to all educators, regardless of the educational setting in which they are practising; and to all learners, whether they are described as \u2018children\u2019, \u2018pupils\u2019, or \u2018students\u2019.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-2923e906 alignfull\">\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-a66a4f2e\">\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-c9799311\"><span class=\"gb-icon\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"img\" height=\"1em\" width=\"1em\" viewBox=\"0 0 512 512\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path fill=\"currentColor\" d=\"M504 256c0 136.967-111.033 248-248 248S8 392.967 8 256 119.033 8 256 8s248 111.033 248 248zM227.314 387.314l184-184c6.248-6.248 6.248-16.379 0-22.627l-22.627-22.627c-6.248-6.249-16.379-6.249-22.628 0L216 308.118l-70.059-70.059c-6.248-6.248-16.379-6.248-22.628 0l-22.627 22.627c-6.248 6.248-6.248 16.379 0 22.627l104 104c6.249 6.249 16.379 6.249 22.628.001z\"><\/path><\/svg><\/span><span class=\"gb-headline-text\"><span class=\"gb-icon\"><\/span><span class=\"gb-headline-text\">Rights, Equality and Diversity<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Camtree will promote, uphold and act in accordance with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ohchr.org\/en\/universal-declaration-of-human-rights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unicef.org.uk\/what-we-do\/un-convention-child-rights\/\" target=\"_blank\">UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)<\/a> <\/strong>(see below for relevant extracts), as well as to international law governing human rights and intellectual property, and enter into research collaborations, partnerships and contracts only with organisations which explicitly make the same commitments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Camtree will not enter into contracts or partnerships with organisations or individuals who are in breach of international law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Camtree is committed to eliminating unlawful discrimination and promoting equality and diversity in our own policies, practices and procedures. Camtree aims to treat everyone equally and with the same attention, courtesy and respect. It recognises that educators are agents of change and Camtree will provide resources and digital tools to support them in this role.&nbsp; Educators, whether teachers, lecturers, supervisors, mentors or coaches, are also learners, and teacher inquiry is a key part of educator learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Camtree considers knowledge about teaching and learning to be a global public good.&nbsp;
